Mr Ng joined the Department of Justice in 2015. He advises the government on matters of international economic law, and has participated as legal advisor to HKSAR in a number of negotiations of Free Trade Agreements and Investment Promotion and Protection Agreements. He has also participated as a member of the Chinese delegation in UNCITRAL Working Group III on ISDS reform since November 2017. In 2012 – 2013, he represented the University of Hong Kong in the ELSA WTO Moot Court Competition and his team was awarded the title of first runner up in the global final round in Geneva.
